Emerging from an idea that first sparked at the University of Pennsylvania, Pseudonym Productions was officially founded in 2015 in Orlando, Florida. Across 5 unforgettable immersive experiences, Pseudonym made a name for itself as one of Central Florida’s most unique production companies. Now back in Philadelphia, Pseudonym Productions is currently developing multiple new immersive experiences to debut on an aggressive timeline across multiple cities throughout the coming years.

We are looking for a multi-talented Production Designer who can help lead the efforts in inventive world building, creating memorable scenic moments, designing unexpected interactions, and developing exploratory experiences.
Desired past experience includes 3+ years designing for any or all of the following ares: themed entertainment, attraction design, theatrical or exhibition design, immersive theater, escape rooms, haunted attractions, science centers, themed bars & restaurants, interactive art museums, experiential marketing activations, architecture.
Candidate must possess the following qualities: AutoCAD, 3DS Max, hand sketching, Photoshop, concept art, exceptional creative skills, especially in designing for public interaction; excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills; strong work ethic, positive attitude, open to feedback, and ability to iterate and design collaboratively; excitement to work quickly, in many different directions.
Job responsibilities include: Communicate visually with reference images, sketches, and models for the design, development and detailing of immersive / interactive experiences featuring many different themed, story-driven elements and environments, while adhering to the overall creative intent of each experience.
Must be able to design with real-world creation in mind, having a firm understanding of how immersive experiences are actually operated.
Compensation: This is a paid position, either freelance or part time, to be discussed with candidates based on availability and skills offered. Part time work will be paid hourly. Freelance will be an hourly rate or a flat fee per project.
Expected hourly range: $25 – $40 per hour, based on experience level, work history, range of skill set, time required to complete projects, and fit within the company. Flat fee to be negotiated with freelancer, based on expected time devoted to projects, experience level, and work history.
Time Commitment: Position will begin as soon as possible and continue work on an ongoing basis with an expected commitment of 10-20 hours per week.
Opportunities: If the candidate proves to be a great fit for Pseudonym Productions, this position could turn into a full time role as early as November.
